Sono Note records meetings, lectures or quick ideas and turns them into a transcript, summary, key points and an action-item list. It can also draft a follow-up email in a tone you pick, and the original audio stays inside the note for replay. Templates cover meetings, client calls, classes and interviews; export is text, Markdown or PDF.
The developer states there is no account, no ads, no tracking and no own servers — notes stay on the iPhone. Transcription uses Apple’s speech recognition, which may send audio to Apple for some languages; a Local Only mode keeps everything on device. Backing up all data to a single dated file and restoring it is explicitly offered (Pro).
The free tier allows 2 notes a day, up to 3 minutes each. Generated text should be reviewed before use.
