Principle

This website uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics services and no embedded third-party content. Personal data is processed only when you use one of the forms (app submission or subscription report).

Hosting

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (servers in Germany), under a data processing agreement. On access, the server records technically necessary log data (IP address, timestamp, requested resource, user agent) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operation and security). These logs are deleted or anonymised after no more than 7 days.

Forms (submission & subscription report)

Through the submission form we process the data you provide (app name, website/store link, developer, email address, platforms, pricing model, description). Through the “report a subscription change” button we process the reported listing, your optional note and — if provided — your email address.

• Purpose: reviewing and, where applicable, publishing the submission; keeping the directory current; follow-up questions.
• Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing on your request), for submissions additionally your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) via the checkbox, and our legitimate interest in a current directory (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Storage & transfer: the data is stored in a database on our server (Hetzner, Germany) and additionally delivered to us by email via a mail server within the EU (Mailcow / kindler-web.de). No transfer to third countries takes place.
• Spam protection: for rate limiting we store your IP address only as a salted hash (never in clear text).
• Retention: incoming reports are deleted automatically after at most 24 months; personal data we no longer need (e.g. your email) is deleted once processing is complete. Published app details (excluding your email) remain in the directory.

Spam protection

To prevent automated submissions we use techniques without third parties (a hidden field / honeypot, IP-hash-based rate limiting). No third-party captcha or tracking services are used.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (for us: Bavarian DPA, BayLDA).
