ScrollMark
Bookmark scroll positions on webpages and jump back
ScrollMark is a small Mac utility that sets up to 10 scroll checkpoints on a webpage. Option + a number marks a spot; pressing the number jumps back. A HUD panel (Option + Tab) helps navigate, and checkpoints can be overwritten or wiped with a “Clear All” button.
It targets long articles, docs and research reading. The developer states all data stays local, with no tracking and no account required, and Apple lists the app as collecting no data. Requires macOS 12.4 or later, English only, and supports Family Sharing.
Why no subscription? A single $5.00 purchase on the Mac App Store — no recurring fee for a tool that simply remembers where you stopped reading.
