NotchyTask is a native macOS app that puts your to-do list in the MacBook notch. Hover to open it, capture tasks, tick them off, reorder manually. Sections keep work, personal and side projects apart, each with its own prioritization instructions. AI Sort suggests High/Medium/Low with a short reason per task.
Per the developer, AI prioritization runs on-device via Apple’s Foundation Models, and tasks are stored locally. Requirements: macOS 26 or later; AI sorting needs an Apple Intelligence-capable Mac with Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Adding, completing and manual ordering work without AI. There is no sync between devices and no iPhone, Windows or web client. Checkout and license activation need an internet connection.
