Cadence

Cadence shows exactly one week: five columns side by side, one per weekday, in a single window with no projects, labels, priority levels or filter layers. You type tasks, check them off, and drag whatever the day didn’t swallow onto another one. A toggle brings the weekend in when Saturday and Sunday belong in the plan.

Syncing runs over iCloud with no Cadence account, no sign-up and no vendor server in between: Mac and iPhone read the same private iCloud database. The app is built natively for Apple Silicon and stays deliberately narrow — it makes no attempt to become a project management tool.

The Mac version is $19 direct through Polar or $19.99 on the Mac App Store, the iPhone app $9.99 — all one-time, with no in-app purchases and free updates. Cadence is also part of the $99 Yuzool Mac bundle.

Why no subscription? A weekly plan is a list with five columns, running on Apple’s own sync infrastructure. Charging monthly for that would be hard to justify — which does not stop the large task services from doing it.
