PrimeTask is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that combines tasks, projects, calendar, focus mode and a visual canvas (PrimeFlow) in one system. Tasks can be captured in plain language and viewed as list, board, calendar, Gantt or day planner. Two-way sync with Apple Calendar and Reminders lets you add items from iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Siri. A mobile app is described as in development.
According to the vendor, data stays on your device with no telemetry, and after activation you never sign in. There is a PIN lock, AES-256 encryption, backup and restore, plus export to JSON or CSV. CRM, custom fields and FlowMode are Pro features; the page does not state the Pro price.
Why no subscription? The Standard licence is a one-time €69 for two devices, instead of monthly fees for several separate tools.
