Kiri

Kiri is a focus timer that deliberately runs only in a desktop browser – there is no phone app. You name the task, pick 25, 50, 90 minutes or 52/17, and start with the space bar. The countdown sits in the tab title, with a chime and desktop notification at the end. Four blocks in a row earn a long break; streaks and minutes appear on the Progress page.

It adds ten hours-long soundscapes (rain, brown, pink and white noise, forest, cafe, fireplace, sea, wind, waterfall) plus five optional binaural frequencies, which the site says need headphones. The homepage runs a full session without an account; sounds play as two-minute previews there. The free tier keeps timer, rain, brown noise, alpha beats and the log.

Why no subscription? Full access is a one-time €29, rising to €49 after the first 500 licences. Future features are included, there is a 30-day refund, and no card is kept on file.
