Maccy

Maccy automatically remembers what you copy and keeps a searchable history. A keyboard shortcut opens the list, typing filters it, Enter pastes — text, links, even several items in a row.

The point is restraint: no floating window, no cloud, no account. The whole history stays local on your Mac, and you decide how many items to keep and which apps to exclude.

Maccy is open source and free; the App Store has an optional paid version to support development, with the same features.

Why no subscription? A clipboard history is infrastructure, not a premium feature — and certainly not something your data should leave the device for.
