HUUSH
Censor words in video locally on your Mac
HUUSH is a native Mac video editor for removing unwanted words from the audio. Drag footage in from Finder, let Smart Clean suggest words, review the transcript, and replace moments with a beep, silence, or your own audio (up to 30 seconds; 14 sounds included). Export as MP4, MOV, or SRT.
Speech recognition and media processing run on-device with no media upload, though an initial model download may need internet. Censorship affects the whole audio mix in a region, music included — dialogue is not separated. No recognizer catches everything, so regions can be added manually. Requires macOS 26 or later.
Why no subscription? One purchase: $7.99 for the first 20 licences, then $14.99. A lifetime licence covers one active Mac and can be moved to another Mac from your account. Final price and taxes are confirmed at checkout.
