Local Music Organizer
Inspect, clean and convert your local music library
Local Music Organizer is a macOS toolkit for offline music collections (macOS 14+, Apple Silicon and Intel). It finds missing or inaccessible files, incomplete albums, tracks without artwork, and duplicates: repeats inside one playlist, multiple Music.app records pointing to the same file, and different physical versions of a recording with A/B comparison.
Audio Inspector reports codec, bitrate, sample rate, bit depth and a dB-scale spectrogram, plus an authenticity assessment flagging signs of lossy-to-lossless conversion. There is also Live Spectrum, tag and filename cleanup, repair and conversion with batch normalization and vinyl de-click, and a Shuffle Builder. Single files work via Finder or drag and drop without Music.app. Scans stay diagnostic until you explicitly choose an action. The developer states no accounts, no audio or library uploads, and no cross-site tracking.
