Atlas Red
Buy-once mind mapping in your browser
Subscription-free alternative to MindMeister, Miro.
Atlas Red is a browser-based mind mapping tool that turns scattered notes, documents and calls into a structured, editable map. Nodes group into categories, the layout rearranges on demand, and a map can be restructured, shared or exported without leaving the page.
Every edition has every feature. Exports are never held back — Markdown, OPML, FreeMind, XMind, images and PDF are all available, including on the free tier, so a map is never locked to the app. The only thing that ever costs extra is optional AI import, paid from prepaid credits that do not expire or with your own key. A free MCP server for Claude and a ChatGPT app are included.
The Free edition is free forever, needs no card and covers up to ten maps. Pro is a one-time $99 (a lower launch price is offered while it lasts) and adds unlimited maps, more storage and all future updates — no renewal, no expiry, with a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Why no subscription? A mind map is a personal tool, not a hosted service — your maps and their exports stay yours whether or not you ever pay. Renting access to your own ideas month after month is the wrong deal, so Atlas Red is bought once instead.
