Tamadochi
A tiny pixel pet for your desk, bought once
Tamadochi is a quiet pet game for the Mac. The pixel pet sits at the bottom of your screen and by default follows a visible Dock; you can switch that off and set a fixed placement with display, side, width, height and bottom gap. Feed it, offer snacks, clean the room and give medicine, watching it grow through five stages.
Eight randomly chosen mini-games earn Star Bits to spend on accessories, 12 room themes and decorations. There are three difficulty settings, 12 achievements, local PNG pictures of pet and room, sounds, care reminders and launch at login. Progress pauses when the app is closed or the Mac sleeps. Available in English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese; requires macOS 13.0 or later.
