Sun Position: Plan Sunlight
Plan sun direction and daylight for any spot
The app shows calculated sun direction and elevation across the local day for a chosen place, plus sunrise, sunset, civil twilight and daylight length. Pick a location by search, current position or manual coordinates; each plan keeps its own time zone. You can compare two dates, and polar day, polar night and days without a horizon crossing are described explicitly.
Plans can be named, reopened offline, edited and shared as a PDF report, image map or text summary; a transferable backup can be exported, with import conflict checks and a trash for deleted plans. No account and no app-managed cloud sync; solar maths runs on device. Map content, online place search and purchases need a connection. Results are a geometric estimate, not weather, shadow or navigation guidance.
Why no subscription? The app is free; additional saved plans are unlocked by a one-time lifetime upgrade of 17,99 €, with purchase restore in Settings.
