Room-by-room home safety checklist, offline, no account
RoomMend is a room-by-room home checklist. Pick apartment or a one- or two-floor house, tap a common issue like a loose rug, poor lighting or a cord across a path, optionally add a photo with numbered markers, and schedule it for this week, this month or someday. The home screen always shows one next step, and completed fixes trigger a recheck reminder after 30 days. Guided walkthroughs for bathrooms, stairs, kitchens and more cite public guidance from the CDC, NIA, NFPA and CPSC.
Fix lists can be shared as plain text via Messages or email, or saved as a room PDF. It works offline, needs no account, and the developer states no data is collected; optional Face ID lock. It is not an inspection or medical tool and does not detect hazards in photos.
Why no subscription? Walkthroughs, unlimited rooms, the fix list, reminders and room PDFs are free. RoomMend Plus is a one-time $19.99 unlock adding more homes, more photos, a whole-home binder PDF, before/after slider and full timeline.
