Ritualoom
Calm habit tracker, local data, no subscription
Ritualoom is a habit tracker without pressure: create rituals, check them off, or log counts and timers (glasses of water, steps, minutes of reading). Schedules can be daily, on set weekdays, every few days, or monthly. You can go back and mark a day you forgot, rest days don’t count as misses, and rituals can be paused instead of broken. Local notifications fire even when the app is closed.
No account is required, and the developer states there are no analytics SDKs or third-party trackers. Data lives in a local database on the device. Backup is manual: export a full JSON file and import it on the same or another device. There is no automatic cloud backup yet — anything unexported is lost if the device is. Device-native backup is planned.
Why no subscription? Free for 7 days, then a single payment of £5.99 / $5.99. No ads, no paid tiers; the trial limits time, not features.
