Offline trip planner with budget tracking, free
Despite the name, this iPhone and iPad app plans trips anywhere. It has five tabs: Today (day plan, time-zone and exchange-rate tools, a map of today’s stops), Trips (flights, rental cars, multiple lodgings with move dates, journaling), Budget & Expenses, Places and Settings.
The app is described as working mostly offline. Expense entry is manual by design, with no banking connections, and reports can be exported as Excel or PDF. Location history is opt-in, logs every five minutes and stays on device or in iCloud. All trip data can be backed up and restored via JSON. You can also paste a plan produced as JSON by an AI chatbot, and trip titles can be suggested on-device.
Why no subscription? The App Store lists the app as free; no subscription or purchase price appears in the page text.
