Dust Dominion is a real-time strategy game set on Mars in 2089. Two factions face off: humans with tanks, infantry and helicopters, and machines with drones, swarms and robots. You gather iron and uranium, research technologies, expand a base and push troops through the fog of war.
Modes include campaign missions, skirmish against the AI, survival waves, king of the hill, a daily challenge, duel, sandbox and a map editor. Day-night cycles, dust storms and solar storms shift the course of battles, and a ten-minute academy tutorial covers the basics. The App Store lists the app as free and containing advertising; the developer states no data is collected. Requires iOS 15 or later, or macOS 12 with Apple silicon.
Why no subscription? The download is free. The store page says nothing about in-app purchases or subscriptions – only advertising is disclosed.
