Private card wallet on iPhone, core use without a sub
digiID Limited keeps copies of cards and documents — IDs, membership and business cards, passport copies, certificates — in a wallet on your iPhone. You scan front and back, the wallet is encrypted on the device and protected by device authentication, and saved cards can be searched offline. Selected details can be hidden for presentation while the original images stay unchanged. Core wallet use does not require a digiID account.
The app is free with in-app purchases. The first saved card is free; basic privacy editing, barcode and QR checks, recovery and plain privacy-masked PDF export remain available without a subscription. digiID does not issue or verify official identification, and holograms are decorative covers only.
Why no subscription? Only partly: there is an optional monthly digiID Plus subscription (U.S. offer three months free for eligible subscribers, then $0.99 per month; prices vary by storefront) for more cards, finishes, widgets and labelled PDFs. The earlier one-time full-version unlock remains separate and can be restored.
